Le bec que je cherchais

Après avoir essayé un grand nombre de becs métal ou ébonite, je m'étais décidé pour un Berg Larsen métal 120/2 M. Ce bec représentait pour moi le meilleur compromis pendant plus d'un an, les compromis étant ce qu'ils sont... J'ai commandé le Jody Jazz sans me faire trop d'illusions, avec l'assurance de pouvoir le renvoyer s'il ne me convenait pas. A ma grande surprise, au premier son joué j'ai senti la différence: tout collait, les graves faciles les aigus puissants et tout avec un son bien jazzi. Aucun regret pour l'investissement !

Déjà, le bec est très bien présenté (boîte, sac velours) mais à ce prix là, on est en droit de ne pas en attendre moins. La ligature est très efficace (contrairement aux Théo Wayne!). Quand au bec... facile à jouer, velouté, avec de très beaux graves et des aigus pas criards et néanmoins une belle puissance. Autant dire que j'ai tout de suite vu la différence avec le côté dur et medium de mon Larsen stainless steel. Je galère un peu pour obtenir des graves complètement détimbrés (du mib au la) mais il s'agit juste, peut-être, du manque d'habitude. Le plus difficile risque d'être de ne pas craquer pour le même bec sur mon tenor, mon alto et mon soprano!!!
Ce bec vaut clairement son prix!!!
