This is an absolute steal for the money. I had been looking for a lefty headless bass for a good while and finally Ibanez delivered.
Playability:
This bass is very lightweight and the action was factory perfect, enables long sessions without discomfort.
Sound:
The active eq allows for a wide variety of tones. Maybe the pickups could be slightly brighter, as I find boosting the highs and upper mids makes a perfect tone, which requires the active eq. Really a non-issue given the eq, but maybe brighter pickups would make it even more versatile.
Looks:
Its absolutely beautiful!
Logistics:
Without the headstock this fits into a guitar gigbag and you will not accidentally slap the neck into a wall or your vocalists face.
I was willing to pay over double the price for a custom one but luckily did not have to, as this is pretty much perfect.
