Fantastic Guitar

What can I say? Fantastic guitar! Love the unique shape the sound is amazing and the quality is impeccable. Smooth neck and easy to play with the medium, jumbo frets! I play a lot of metal and this is perfect - even sounds fantastic for rock/blues as well! Im really tempted to get the white one to complete the set!
You won't be dissapointed when you buy this beast!

Wow, what a striking guitar!

The finish of this guitar is really designed to impress, it has a big presence visually, which I am glad to say is matched by the Lundgren pickups, which are very dark and warm feeling. The neck pickup could stand to be a smidge hotter with a little more on the top end, but soloing with the neck pickup is an absolute joy. Really has a quality, nasally register that sounds great. So glad I picked this guitar up. Well done, Hagstrom!

Very solid, versatile, and cost-effective. Love that I can get solid rock, lead, and ambient tones. The neck is one of the most playable I have ever seen. The one drawback is quality issues (made in China). Lots of repeat issues with the volume knobs, pickup selector, and strap buttons. Nothing that can't be fixed with replacement parts. But otherwise, very happy with my purchase.

Ich spiele auf der Gitarre hauptsächlich Black Metal. Dass sie als Ghost Signature theoretisch nur bedingt dafür gedacht ist, merke ich persönlich nicht.
Sie klingt in jeder Einstellung sehr (subjektiv) gut und ist auch durch den Coil Split sehr vielseitig einsetzbar.
Grundsätzlich ist die Gitarre top verarbeitet; allerdings lag ein Potiknopf lose im Karton und ich habe erst befürchtet, dass dieser ganz fehlt.
Saitenlage, Intonation etc. waren aber out of the box gut, hier gibt es nichts zu bemängeln.

Durch den ausladenden Korpus hat man mit der Fantomen auf jeden Fall einen ziemlichen Klopper am Gurt und ich habe etwas gebraucht, um im sitzen eine gute Position für den rechten Arm zu finden, in der Regel weiß man aber bei einer solchen Form - ähnlich wie bei Explorer-Modellen, worauf man sich einlässt.

Vor dem Kauf hatte ich leise Bedenken bezüglich der Stimmstabiliät, aufgrund der Saitenführung die bei Gibsongitarren in meiner Erfahrung häufg einen negativen Einfluss darauf hat. Diese waren aber zum Glück unbegründet. Die Stimmung wird trotz nicht-Locking-Mechaniken zuverlässig gehalten.

Zuletzt noch zum Hals: Ich würde den Hals als mitteldick beschreiben - Man merkt, dass man einiges an Material in der Hand hat, ein Baseballschläger ist es aber auf keinen Fall.

Ich würde sie vor allem zu dem Preis immer wieder kaufen!
