Great hardware and quality, OK sound

Pros:
- The general quality of the kit is amazing
- I'm particularly impressed with the hardware. I've played for 20 years and this is the first bass drum that doesn't move away from me when I play. Also, I was a bit hesitant about the tom system (whether the tom would fall off when I play), but it took me 3 6-hour practices before it moved a tiny bit (and it didn't come even close to falling off). So the hardware is very sturdy! Also the system doesn't compromise the bass drum sound because it is built in a way that the tom sort of "rests" on it.
- Visually I think the kit as a whole looks very nice, the wooden colour is very warm.
- The bass drum sound is excellent, particularly for a 20' bass drum!

Cons:
- The floor tom sound is not good. I've tuned it so many times and switched to different drum heads, but it still sounds plain awful. I have to tune it 4-5 times per practice, and that's not great.
- The snare is also awful - but that's always the case with shell sets, so I was expecting that.

That Famous Gretsch sound!

HIntalaatusuhde kohdallaan. On ollut ilo soitella studiossa ja keikalla. Luonnollinen pinta rummuissa on kaunis. Remon kalvot toimii hyvin. Ei ole ollut tarvetta vaihtaa. Jos haluaisin kirkkaampaa virvelisaundia niin eiku ludwigin supralitea kehiin. Dw:n 3000 pedaali tuo settiin mukavuutta ( Erikseen ostettuna ). Itse ostin tämän setin käyttösetiksi keikoille ja studioon ettei tarvitse vintage ludareita kolhia. Mukavaa vaihtelua uuden ja vanhan setin välillä. Samankaltaisuuksia hain myös setin koosta. Tykkään etu tomin syvyydestä ettei ole liian syvä joten setti on helppo soitettava ja kaikki on lähellä. Hardware puoli on kätevä kayttää ja nopea asentaa haluamaansa asentoon. Eli ei tää mikkään riihen seinästä repästy setti ole. Suosittelen.

Neat Little Kit

Perfect if you're gigging in small spaces but still want to bring the thunder.

One of the first things you notice about it is how good it looks, it really is a beautiful drum kit, it always gets compliments at gigs. The coated heads also help provide a nice vintage appeal.

It is nice and light, and not too large, so fits nicely into cars for easy transport.

The rack tom attachment can make the tom sit slightly off and move about easily. However, adjusting the angle is easy.
Some of the tuning lugs can also come loose quicker than others.

Overall, it is a great kit and I'm glad I bought it.
If you're looking for a good quality kit at a lower price, it's a good choice.

Excellent Drum kit

This is an excellent drum kit. The finish looks lovely, and the hardware is low mass, yet stable and really lets the drums resonate.

There is good separation between the toms, and have a nice warm vintage tone. They have a good tuning range, so you can get jazzy high pitch or lower rock pitches without everything getting muddy.

The snare also has a great tuning range and is really responsive, picking up all ghost notes as well as having good volume.

Bass drum sounds great unmuffled. Without muffling it has a good sound without too many weird overtones. Adding some dampening to the batter head makes it very punchy.

Generally the kit is very well balanced in terms of tone, and no part of the drumkit feels like it's overpowering the rest of the kit.

Can't think of any negatives to the kit. Really sounds like it's worth a lot more than it really is, especially with the beautiful walnut finish.
