Epiphone Stealth

I received my new guitar sooner than I had expected. Not the first time I’ve used Thomann, they have always been helpful in answering any of my questions. I’m fortunate to own several top end custom guitars, one of them being a Gibson 335 custom 59 reissue. The quality finish and sound of the Epiphone Stealth is incredible. The guitar arrived fully setup and ready to play. The only thing I have done was to lower the action. For the money, this is one beautiful guitar.

Great guitar for semi hollow without breaking the bank

The Sheraton is tried and true line of guitar by Epiphone born as a sister to the Gibson ES-335. The Emily Wolfe Sheraton brings the heritage with personal touches such as the Diamond holes inspired by the ones in Trini Lopez and Dave Grohl signatures and the inlays with exclusive lightning bolt abalones in mother of pearl design. As for the tones, they are exactly what you would expect of the wood and pickups. Quality control on the frets heights (buzz) could be better and needed a immediate trip to the luthier once arrived. I would recommend this model.

Worth it

Delivery was fast and the guitar just needed a adjustment of the string height to start playing. Great sound, solid mechanics, ok electronics and visually absolutely stunning. Great buy for that price.

Absolute Überraschung

Die Gitarre klingt absolut Kracher. Ihre wahre Stärke liegt im verzerrten Bereich, da klingt Sie einmalig. Ich besitze noch eine Gibson 335 aus dem Custom shop zum Vergleich. Ich würde fast sagen das die Epi etwas wärmer/cremiger rüber kommt. Clean auch seidenweicher Sound , ich konnte es fast nicht glauben. Optisch eine Augenweide und auch sehr schöner Hals, das Profil gefällt mir sehr gut. Verarbeitung ist natürlich nicht auf Gibson Niveau aber fast. Ich musste ein wenig den Hals einstellen, dass ist aber ja immer so. Bei mir rappelt die Bridge etwas, das muss ich noch untersuchen und bin sicher, dass ich das noch hinbekomme. Das case ist auch in Ordnung. Ich bin echt und wirklich begeistert. :-)
