i got the jb-4 to stop the direct projection of my 4 x 12 burman cab
so the front row of people are not defend and the bar staff can hear the drinks
ordered ,without the landlord running up to the band and screaming to turn down

this has worked very well and also the sound has got tighter
you do need to experiment with the position of the screen as it does alter
i found about a 500mm away from the cab with a v shape into the center of the cab and the sides covered,the drummer has also noted that he can hear me better ,without blasting him like usual ,all in all very pleased and recomend this shield ,works even better with the isolation pad auralex great gramma tightens up the bass bottom end

Ich nutze das JB 4 vor einer 4x12er Marshall Box, die von einem Mesa Dual Rectifier betrieben wird. In kleinen Räumen entsteht das bekannte Sound Problem. Seitlich stehend hört man die Box gut balanciert - direkt davor ein brachialer und tendenziell höhenlästiger Strahl. Damit macht das JB-4 Schluß. Gleichmäßiger Sound. Allerdings bleiben die Höhen etwas auf der Strecke und man muss das am Amp nachregulierten. Dann passt es wieder und alles ist gut.

Klare Kauf-Empfehlung.

Draagt bij aan een betere FOH sound

Door het scherm heeft de zaal minder last van stagesound, maar de geluidsman kan zijn werk beter doen. Mocht het podiumgeluid niet fijn voor je zijn, dan kun je het scherm een beetje anders neerzetten totdat je tevreden bent.
