Description doesn't give the length of the mic (which is approx 47cm) nor that it's two separate flexible sections of about 70mm top and bottom with a plain shaft in between.

I'm using it horizontally as a conferencing mic, so it protrudes over the top of my monitor. It works well for this and (so far at least) hasn't drooped.

So, happy enough with it. Quality seems ok, though it picks up some physical noise from the fans of the PC it's sat on through the body of the mic (nothing to do with the cardiod pick-up pattern - just "handling" noise).

Bought for synth vocoder (Mininova)

I bought this microphone to complete a set up of synth with microphone (Novation Mininova). However the microphone is not an active microphone. Thereofore it did not work.
I tried another active microphone (without phantom power) and it worked perfectly afterwards.
