Excellent adjustable nut.

This nut enables me to adjust the string height at the nut end as low as possible. It takes some time to find the correct height adjustment for each string, but the end result is well worth the effort. This nut also brightens the string tone and seems to give a more defined sound, and a more metallic kind of sound. It really changed the sound of my guitar quite significantly. This might not be the kind of sound that every guitarist likes, but I personally enjoy the tone very much. It's probably a matter of just getting used to the change in tone. The greatest benefit is the nut's adjustability which gives my guitar better mechanical playability.

Exellent nut for Les Paul!

I replaced a tusq-nut of my Les Paul Custom with this.
Very well crafted and accurate to adjust as you wish your string height to be.
It effects to the overall tone and makes everything a bit more articulate. No buzz or resonating whatsoever.
My guitar is dark in sound wise so this made it bit brighter.
However keep in mind if you are going to use heavier strings: 10-52 or so, the strings might not stay in the slots when bending and strumming aggressively.You just might need to file the slots little deeper.
I use 9-46 and they stay fine in the slots.

Oikein hyvä tuote, jokaisen kielen korkeuden voi säätää satulasta haluamakseen, mukailemaan vaikkapa radiusta. Satulan alapuoli on muuten tasainen! Työnjälki on loistavaa ja saundiin tuli hieman enemmän "klangia". Nyt myöskin vapaat kielet kuulostavat melko samoilta kuin nauhalta painettaessa. Suosittelen!!

For me it works great

I have it in my (Korean) epiphone the dot guitar with .10 gauge stings. It's a very high quality product, very well made. It's depth do not exactly fits my guitar neck, I think the neck is 43mm. But that's not a real problem.
It enhances sustain noticeably and it's easy to set it. It will take you some time to set the individual height properly but when you're done with that your setup will be great. I did use a caliper to set it with precision and the result is amazing. Do not set all the strings at the same height. If you want to take the full advantage of the product be thorough and precise. String gauge, neck radius and relief are very important. First set the relief, then the nut height, and then the action for better results. Captain obvious here!
It does change the quality of the sound not only sustain wise (a Lot!) but also tone wise (a little). It can slightly open the high frequencies, not in a bad way. You will hardly notice the tone difference when you play through an amp.
I will definitely buy another one
