Very nice Ukulele
MojiT0 14.05.2017
It is the nicest instrument I have (and I have a lot). Everything is perfect, the look, the sound, comfortable to play, the tuning keys are fluent to use. The wood has its properties and produces rich and sweet sound (it's Acacia). The only thing that was shame for the producer was the saddle - it was plastic. And not only this but it seems it was shaped mistakenly and put in reverse. This of course is very small detail that I fixed temporarily until my bone saddle blanc arrives :) So temporarily I just corrected the plastic saddle filing it and I put cheap back nylon ukulele strings to try until the bone saddle arrives. From the filing of the original saddle the size went to 7mm and the action is pretty low but without fret buzz. The play is excellent. So this beautiful sound is with the cheap plastic saddle and the cheapest strings there !!! I cannot wait to make the bone one and to put my Aquila strings I prepared :) Superior Ukulele.

Beautiful instrument
Anónimo 11.04.2022
This is a great ukulele made by Portuguese luthier Apc instruments for Thomann. The wood is beautiful and it is well crafted. It's not 100% perfect as the pegs and nut are made of cheap plastic. The strings will be replaced eventually. I found out that strings C and E buzz when playing the 1st and 2nd fret, due to low action. There's not gigbag included.

However you are getting a solid wood ukulele under €200 with a beautiful design. It combines sustain with a rich sound, not mellow but rather punchy, still warm. It's a good choice overall.

Quality/Price ++++++

A nice instrument with a decent sound. The only downside I have found to it is that the neck is heavy. Enough to compromise the overall balance. (But hey, you get what you pay for.) To solve this I added a strap from attached from the bottom of the instrument to the nut and it completely alleviated the problem.

Speaking of the nut: As mentioned in other reviews. The nut and bridge saddle are made of plastic. I was planning on changing these immediately soon receiving this beautiful uke but it became much less urgent to my ears once I replaced the original strings (real cheapos) with some decent D’addarios.

In conclusion:

- Change the strings immediately
- Buy a strap / Add a strap button (YouTube is your friend)
- Consider changing the nut and saddle

…and you will have a lovely uke which will keep you entertained for hours on end.

Peace ✌🏻
