I use it only to put the violin in place, and short travels in car, and I buckle the safety belt.
There are of course better cases, but more expensive.
A simple but pleasant violin case, light.
The dense foam shell, embraces the violin tight.
The waterproof nylon canvas cover includes an extra pocket to put a pencil and a small notebook. Soft velvety face material to prevent scratches.
The plastic handle is comfortable.
Zipper keeps the case closed without the addition.
There is no blanket to place on the violin so that the bow will not touch the violin when the bag is closed.
OK for beginners and those who do not want to invest a lot in the case.
By the downsides I would not advise if you do many trips where the violin may be subject to hazards.
Summary:
Pros: cheep and does the work
Cons: No blanket between the violin and the bow. Bow fixation is minimal.
