When I bought these we just finished a small studio for live playing and recording. After a few months there was a huge problem with the building and there was a big water leak going straight into our studio, the floor and the carpet were literally soaking wet. The drum kit was FULL OF WATER, I mean every tom was filled with water to the top, the mesh and trigger were literally submerged by 1cm or more. If you were to hit a tom with a drumstick, it would splash water all over.
I almost cried, there was the first e-drum kit I ever bought and now its a literally a submarine. In all that sadness I did the only reasonable thing to do, take everything apart except the module (the module was surface wet and I don't think any water got inside) and leave it in a dry place for a few days. After a few days I plugged everything back in to give it a go,
everything was working PERFECTLY, the sound was identical to before the accident and no loss in rebound or feeling while playing.
The worst part is this happened TWICE, as the building had a water problem A SECOND TIME few weeks after the first, so the whole kit was soaking wet TWICE and still works perfectly, its indestructible.
Best buy of my life 100%, I don't know if any other piece of digital equipment for music would endure this.
