Sounds Just Like The Thomann Audio Clips - Fantastic!
Chickenlips 11.11.2019
This is the best sounding classical guitar I have owned regardless of the price. It's solid wood and in your face. It's clean, upfront and the sound is much bigger than you would think. It's made in Europe, not China. It's not flashy or has lots of adornments but playing it will make you smile and wonder. How can a solid wood guitar cost so little and be so good? There are some little things like the fretboard is stained a little over the edge up and down the neck. The very light satin finish has a drip going down the neck which was missed because it is hidden by the natural wood color. It's a plain-looking well-built guitar but it sounds like a high-end classical guitar without a doubt!

Quality built guitar

A nice solid wood guitar with a sweet sound, no buzzes with the frets, and it stays in tune well. Replacing the bridge saddle with a slightly lower one helps improve intonation. I have been playing this guitar for two years now and have nothing to complain about.

Better than Expected
Babeco67 05.12.2023
I was shocked when I took the instrument in my hand. This guitar is a keep from the beginning. The construction is solid. It sounds kind of mid range, but keeps a sustain tone. I have not tested the guitar against other guitars yet but I bet is a winner. I will keep it as it is and if I needs to amplify it, I will use an acoustic guitar pickup in the sound hole. The color is impressive, I already love it. The only thing is the saddle nut is too high but is nothing that I can not fix. This guitar is worth all the money.

Initial disappointment overcome
rufusdufus 01.02.2025
When I first took delivery of this Gewa Pro Natura Gold 4/4 Solid Wood Classical Guitar I was disappointed mostly by the tone (especially the G string). I'm used to steel string guitars, not only that I use Newtone Monel wound strings on my acoustics so I'm used to a very different tone. Also I found the action on this guitar to be really very high. So, I bought a Tusq classical guitar saddle (I like to keep the original parts as they came) and sanded it lower than the default saddle by 2 ml (2ml at saddle = 1 ml at 12th) which made it the perfect height for me. Unfortunately the Tusq saddle is a couple of ml narrower so I will in the future get a bone saddle and make it this height and the right thickness but it will serve for now. Also I bought myself a classical wound G string. Now it's perfect for my purposes. I understand this is not the way a classical guitar should be but I'm an old man in my 70's and just needed something to pick up and play that is easier to play and gentler on the fingers than my steel stringers for those times when my fingers start to burn a little and now it fits the bill perfectly. The wide neck was easier to get used to than I imagined it would be and hasn't really been a problem except for those thumb over chords but even those are becoming as easy as any other.
Quality is very impressive for this price range. It's difficult to comprehend how they can sell an all solid spruce top Maple back and sides of this quality at this price range. The inside is as clean as my £2K Taylor was when I bought it and after my alterations it sounds gorgeous and plays beautifully. Would absolutely recommend these guitars but bear in mind you might have to do a little work on them depending on what you intend to use it for. I have no reason to doubt that it was set up correctly for Classical beginners.
