I needed an instrument for winds and strings, and thought that this one can be used for both, but to be honest not totally.
Its not expensive comparing to others and good to try, but not perfect for my case. The clip is quite comfortable, but take into account how wide is the part of instrumen, where you want to set instrument - the clip is really linited in the angle it can be opened.
Now about sound.
I tried it with etno wind instrument which is alike the block-flute, but for that purpose it's not perfect: if I set it to close to the source of sound - it catches too much wind. If I try to change position - I start loosing level of sound OR some frequencies, which is not much easy then to fix with EQ. Need to admit that I feel lack of some bright high frequencies (but when trying to add them with EQ - I get more noise), so honestly... As for amateur played (for my son) its not bad, but if you want really good sound - probably you need to take a look at other options. And, of course, compare. And listen to your ears - probably, for you instrument frequencies it will suite better

Ich habe das Mikrofon einem Vergleichstest mit mehreren verschiedenen Blasinstrumenten unterzogen. Die anderen Kandidaten waren:
- AKG C519M (auch Kondenser)
- Beyerdynamic TG I52D (Dynamisch)
- JTS CX 508

Dabei kam es mir auf folgende Kriterien an:
1. Natürlichkeit des Klangs
2. Unempfindlichkeit gegen Geräusche durch Klappen und Ventile

Bei der Natürlichkeit des Klangs hatte das AKG die Nase vorne, aber nur gaaaaaanz knapp vor dem LD. Nichts, was mit einer minimalen Klangregelung des Kanals nicht zu bändigen wäre.
Bei der Unempfindlichkeit waren LD und AKG ganz vorne mit dabei.
Bei einem Preis, der weniger als die Hälfte des AKG beträgt, eine ganz klare Kaufempfehlung.

Kurztest mit Streichinstrument zwecks Kopplungsempfindlichkeit

Ein kurzer Test mit Violine bezüglich der Kopplungsempfindlichkeit bei Monitoring: Leider für meine Zwecke nicht geeignet.

Bei dem Clip-Mikrofon handelt es sich originär um ein Mic für für Bläser/ Perkussion (so steht es auch in der Beschreibung). Da ich aktuell eine neue Funkstrecke (LD Systems U508 BPG) für meine Violine mit Schertler-Direktabnahme einrichte, war ich auf der Suche nach einem möglichen Backup-System, welches möglichst wenig kopplungsanfällig ist (das DPA 4099 scheidet aufgrund der Superniere dahingehend aus - sobald Monitoring eine Rolle spielt, ist das DPA für Livezwecke nicht nutzbar).

Das Clip-Mikrofon von LD geht zurück, da es beim Testen mit meiner Violine mit Monitor-Sound ebenfalls bereits bei geringer Laustärke zu Rückkopplungen kam (was bei der Niere vermutlich auch zu erwarten war). Funktioniert technisch einwandfrei mit dem LD U508 BPG. Eine Sterne-Bewerbung kann ich kaum abgeben. Vielleicht hilft die Erfahrung aber dennoch weiter.

LDWS1000MW: goed, maar wel phantom power nodig

Prima microfoon, flexibel, past uitstekend op zowel tenor als alt sax, maar ook op allerlei andere instrumenten dank zij de clip.

Wordt momenteel gebruikt voor live optredens en opnames. Het snoer is zeer ruim van lengte en licht, maar daardoor wel kwetsbaar.

Even goed opletten: Thomann vermeldt dit niet in de specificaties, maar deze microfoon heeft wel 5V voeding nodig via de mini XLR plug. Er wordt een XLR naar mini XLR adapter meegeleverd die de 5V maakt uit 48V Phantom Power. Het is dus wel zaak dat je mengpaneel of interface phantom power kan leveren.

Het setje komt in een kartonnen doosje, een etui of harder doosje was wel fijn geweest voor transport, maar voor deze prijs mag je niet te veel eisen stellen.

Verder een prima product, zeer tevreden mee.
