K&K Trinity Solo Mini

I have one of these in a Martin 0015 from about 4 years ago and it is very fine indeed . The one I purchased now for a dreadnought is really nothing compared to that . It appears K&K production control has gone out the window to some degree ... why ?

The Mic is not the same at all . My original sounds great , this one sounds rubbish in comparison , and yes , I did an A to B test . I saw other folks comment on that same topic and I have to agree

This is not worth the price of admission anymore .... and that is a shame
I am dissapointed and annoyed ....I really dont belive folks could really consider the new mics a reasonable replacement ...
Also , I tried two different mics from the same range and the results were the same

Ich habe die Trinity-Kombi bereits in meiner "Albert&Müller"-Gitarre seit längerem im Einsatz + habe mir aufgrund der großen Zufriedenheit damit gerade zwei weitere Expl. zum Einbau in meine Guild F 30 Std. und eine Steelstring Bariton geordert.
Der Einbau ist auch für handwerklich weniger Versierte gut zu schaffen und das Ergebnis ist mehr als überzeugend. Der k+k western mini ist seit Jahren bekannt für seine sehr natürliche Wiedergabe und in der Kombi mit dem k+k trinity Mikro erhält man hier m.E. mit etwas vom Besten, das der Markt für das - nach wie vor - heikle Thema "Verstärkung einer Akustikgitarre" hergibt.
Mir persönlich passt die Konzeption mit dem batterielosen Innenleben der Gitarre + dem externen Preamp (schlicht; aber super funktionell) sehr gut. Je nach Umgebung wird man mit dem Dazumischen des Mikrosignals etwas behutsam sein müssen - aber das ist bei diesen interen Mikros eigentlich immer so.
Und den Preamp kaufe ich einmal + kann ihn dann in meinem Fall für drei verschiedene Instrumente nutzen.
Kann das k+k-Trinity-System uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen !
