Ernie Ball 2920 M-Steel

Son cuerdas que claramente tiene mayor duración. Pero se sienten duras al tacto, puede llevar un tiempo acostumbrarse.
El sonido es un poco más incisivo. En mi experiencia personal, las coloque en una guitarra con sinlge coils y no senti una diferencia, pero al colocarlas en una guitarra con humbucker, el overdrive mejor. Se define muy bien el sonido incluso en sonido con distorsión.
Al principio me costo acostumbrarme, pero a los que buscan un sonido definido con su distorsión, les recomiendo probarlas.

Ich nutze diese Saiten an allen meinen Gitarren, vom Floyd Rose über feste Brücken bis hin zum Bigsby bin ich mehr als begeistert. Auch vom Tuning ist von Standard bis Drop C alles dabei.
Der Sound ist definiert und fett, jede Nuance des Spiels wird klar wiedergegeben, ohne jedoch irgendeine Facette zu stark heraus zu heben. Tele mit vintage SC oder Paula mit High Output HB? Der Sound ist immer gut!
Die Einspielzeit ist sehr kurz, schon nach 10 Minuten verstimmt sich nicht mehr und der Ton ist so wie er die nächsten 4 Wochen auch bleibt, einfach Mega gut.


Als ich alle Gitarren auf 11er Saiten umgestellt habe um einen fetteren Sound zu bekommen war die Wahl der Saiten eher Zufall, ich habe die M- Steel?s probiert und war vom Sound direkt begeistert. Natürlich dachte ich, es würde an der 11er Stärke liegen.
Mittlerweile habe ich diverse andere Saiten ausprobiert, vor allem des hohen Preises wegen, und finde einfach nichts was ähnlich gut klingt. Ich habe mittlerweile schon aufgegeben und werde weiterhin diese, leider überteuerten, Saiten kaufen.
Der Preis führt am Ende auch zu dem Abzug von 1 Stern.

I use these strings in E-standard on a humbucker guitar. They give you just a little extra mojo with the slightly thicker strings. If you want the feel of 46-10s, Eb-standard tuning is the way to go. But if you play jazz or heavy rock, E-standard is great. If you tune to E bending will be a bit harder in the beginning, but as you improve you will apreciate the extra fullness you get because of the slighty higher gauge.
The M-steels are great and really scream, but they are also dynamic.

Tried these strings on my Les Paul Custom. It is a different LP Custom than most others. It has a Mahogany top and rosewood fingerboard, which makes it a bit dull sounding acoustically. It sounds fine plugged in with regulars strings but lacks some, how shall I put it, crispiness when played acoustically. M-steel-strings made it much better actually. And they seem to last longer. Low price for fixing the disappointments of a really expensive guitar. Thumbs up!
