Everytime I back to DR
Ok, thi is the fist time I'm using DR strings with rounded core (I prefer hexagonal). This time I need something for blues and I was wondering if those pack can have a great sustain as HI-BEAM, for example and I wasn't disapointed. It perfectly fit for blues, esspecialy when you need to make a long bending (Parissenne Walkways or Since I've been Loving you).
I used it on:
Fender Stratocaster Deluxe MIM
Marshall DSL40CR
and meny effects pedal. It is very good in combination with Cry Baby (any), analog overdrive etc.
And don't worry - I played Iron Man with it, but I needed BOSS MetalCore...

Great pure nickel strings
I have been converted to pure nickel strings since first trying them some years ago. The warm, vintage sound that pure nickel strings (not nickel coated) produce is amazing and it was a real revelation for me and I now use pure nickel strings in all my guitars
The DR Pure Blues are absolutely great strings, one of the best sets of pure nickel strings that I have tried. I often use Fender's pure nickel strings as well, simply because they are cheaper, but the DR are just as good if not better. They last a considerable amount of time with casual use (I only play at home) and they retain their brightness for quite a while before becoming duller. The one thing I would say is that they feel rather stiffer than other strings of similar gauge, so if you are used to playing with stings of a particular gauge, you may want to start one gauge lower with these. I have read some reviews recently that suggest the quality has deteriorated and breakage is a common occurrence, but I have not found this to be the case. Then again I only have one tremolo-equipped guitar, so this has never been an issue for me anyway.

Great sounding strings
I use them in a Cheap Telecaster format guitar with Almico 2 pickups and I get great sounds for Blues, clasic rock and modern flamenco. The touch feels good and they are easy to bend. I see no cons at all.

Best strings pack I've ever head
Using for more than one month.
Still sounds great and fresh like new.
This was the first time I bought it, but I'm sure I will always buy again.

Amazing strings!
I heard about DR Pure blues some time ago. Finally, decided to try one. Very nice strings:
- nice feel and touch;
- good sound;
- strings are easy on bends;
- good tuning stability;
- warm and clear sound.
I use DR Pure Blues on Tele, LP. Will try on Strat soon.
