I used to use the MFC10 foot controller with two systems, the TC electronics G major and the Boss GTpro, I used wireless MIDI baluns to get the yammy pedal to communicate with it, and NEVER had an issue, before this pedal I had a Behringer floor controller, and it was flaky at best, a budget piece of kit not really good enough for the demanding conditions I put it under. You put a lot of faith in a midi controller as when you are on the road you don't want to be reprogramming it and having it fall over in the middle of a set, it needs to work and be 100% every time. The Yamaha MFC10 is a reliable, perfect and lightweight piece of kit. Well worth the investment.
This controller is just packed with features the ability to play upto four notes at a time make it great for guitarists looking to add a bit of backing to their performances. Team this up with some decent software and the potential is endless, mix mode allows a mixture of note info and cc signals and obviously the rocker pedal can be used to control many variables, I have used this live to play backing vocals and keyboards, as well as to control all of my guitar patches through mainstage and control lighting!! it's well made and I find that the switches have a good feel to them, I'd definitely recommend this! As always great price and fast delivery from Thomann.
