Great sounding travel bass amp

This Warwick BC10 is a little giant - soundwise and techwise. It has a class A type bass amp that brings your bass fairly high up in volume through the 8" speaker and 10 Watt.

My main reasons for buying this amp were

1) to get a handy bass amp for traveling and for home playing with an option of easily stash it away after playing.

2) playing with an amp sound, that could deliver great response and that eliminates the traditional hiss and hum in a standard bass combo amp.

Both parameters were met in this choice, and the price tag is lower than the product could bear without questions asked - the features and the manufacturer considered.

My friend has a Fender J-bass and a P-bass and was quite astonished by the clarity and the bass sound even with the volume knob turned clockwise up from 7 O'clock till 3 O'clock and still giving true bass fundamentals without distortion.

I myself plugged my own Warwick Streamer 5 string into the amp and the low B string rang clearly all the way up. It simply could not distort at any level. Impressive!

The combo could also deliver distinct sound without compromising either of the two basses playing simultaneously.

The portability speaks for itself.

Just buy the amp - it really delivers and fits any bass plugged into the BC10.

Huge clean low end

What a surprise this amp was! I did not expect it to sound so deep and rich with low end. Also the more I crank the volume the better it sounds! As if it was a tube amp :)

The frequency is very pleasing to the ear. Very silent amp as it gives no hiss. The EQ is very effective. This box has lots of low end on tap and lots of huge clean tone. Two inputs is a plus.

The built in limiter likely is one of the reasons why this amp sounds so good.
The size is very portable. I need an amp that can be moved fast as I’m dad at home looking after my young son. So I move it from room to room and play it when I get an opportunity. One needs to make sure to take the power cable out of reach of children once amp is switched off as the cable is detachable and small kids can get ideas to put it in their mouth. So disconnect the cable and put it away safe!

Fantastic little amp with a huge clean tone! This was s good buy!

The Warwick BC 10 is very small and light and this is of course something that affects the sound quality. Considering the size of it, the sound is fairly good, but I would not recommend it for anything else but for practising at home.

Incredible Bass Amp!!

I was looking for a small portable bass amp for me to play around with in my small 18m2 apartment room.
And I came across this one which is EXACTLY what I needed. Great sound, very portable, and built well.

For a small amp, this amp packs quite a punch. I got someone come to me to complain about me being too loud...and I was only at around 40% of the volume.

There is also a great frequency response on the amp and the speaker, for a small amp with low wattage, it takes on different range of frequencies very well (I played my keyboard on it as well)

The EQ works really well thus making it very versatile.
It has 2 inputs (active and passive) if you want to jam with a friend (bass or guitar).

I was surprised at how noise-free this baby is. The DDL (Dynamic Distortion Limiter) really does work.

All the info in the "product description" has been proven true.

Very nice bass amp for the money!
I recommend you get this if you are looking for a budget bass amp for any non-stage situations.
It could be played on-stage if it's mic'd i guess.
