I've always used mesh pop filters, but I wanted to try a metal one - this was the cheapest option available.
Works great, the gooseneck is a decent length and really solid. The clamp is at a right angle to the gooseneck, which seems strange at first, but it actually stops the screen drooping like some of my other ones do.
There's also a small hole where the screen joins the stand - if you ever use the pencil trick to further help with wind noise, that hole is perfect to stick something in. Unintentional, but really useful.
Covers almost any mic in my studio. It is more than enough forrecording. Does not stop a lot of breath in close range because of its big holes in mesh but in regular distance (3-5") it does its job in best way. I like this mesh because it makes singers free to move in that way it makes singers more relaxed and they can feel better what to do. In one way it makes music better. I would deffenetly reccomend to buy one like this if you have big mics or you have singer who likes to move while singing. I would not recomend to buy this if you are about to record rap songs, then you need smaller gird mash.
