I started to use this handy pad in my practice routine, playing by hands or with cajon brushes. I'm extremely satisfied with the result. It can be played at very low volumes and still be able to produce rich versatile sounds (especially with brushes). It can be very easily carried around, allowing you to practice or play everywhere: it's my new companion to parks hangouts.
Except using it as a practice aid, I also use it as a substitution of normal cajon. The pad is portable, I can bring it everywhere easily. Doing a busking with it may requires a microphone. However, when you are doing some soft pieces, it can completely handle that. Apart from that, all the rim, snare and bass sound are clear. Though the bass may not be as heavy as a normal cajon. The quality of the sound is good, I love the articulated sound. Worth buying.
