Used on a 13" acoustic snare. We use the MH2 powerply on snare and kick (single ply on toms) with acoustic cymbals, OH mic and spot mics. We trigger the shells through a DDrum DDTI and route this to drumsoftware (GGD, Drumforge, SSD, etc)
Reason for selecting mesh heads is bleed, we don't want any bleed in the overhead / spot mics and so far the Roland MH2 Powerply heads have done a great job and feel very good.
Quality wise I would say they will last quite some time. So far 3rd month.
I've had 4 drummers play on them, who were very skeptical about mesh heads/triggers and all of them were very impressed and actually liked it.
