A proper professional multicore. 3 years on and still perfect

I bought this multi to replace a smaller, cheaper one. This, I believe, is made in Germany or at least the EU and is far superior to may of the cheap snakes you can find on the market.
The cable is actually quite slim for a 24+8, but very supple and it's obviously strong. I went for the option of a Harting plug on the end, rather than tails, and although more costly, this is definitely recommended. The tails (see separate review) live in the dog-box of the mixer flightcase and I just couple it up when rigging.
The actual drum is made of a slightly flexible but very strong plastic with a metal connector plate. The XLRs are all good quality Amphenol. I've only had to replace one so far on which the latch broke, but it was easy to find one that fitted. Note that they are a different size to Neutrik XLRs and these won't fit.
The drum stand again is some sort of reinforced plastic. It's again flexible, but 3+ years of hard use has proved it's well up to the job, and being plastic, it keeps the weight down. There is a brake at the back to stop it unrolling when not in use, and to prevent cable spill when feeding out when rigging.
All in all an excellent product and I'm well pleased with it.
