So many of you might be wondering if it's worth spending quite a bit of money on a simple rack mounting unit. I thought the same, however, I was finding that I was not using my Moogerfoogers (MF102 Ring Mod, MF103 phaser, MF104M delay and MF107 Freq Box) as much as I should have done.
They were all placed flat on a table in my studio beside my Voyager. The fact is, that once I put 3 of them (Ring Mod, Phaser and Freq Box) in the Rack Mount Kit the accessibility caused me to start patching them up more and more. I have come up with some great sounds now that I'm motivated to use them!
The Rack unit itself is serious quality, very solid. Installation was a breeze.
Highly recommended - tidy studios = more productivity!!!
Does the job but not cheap. Also think carefully about access to your CV inputs at the back of your Moogerfoogers before you settle on a solution. This works for me but worth having a look at the moog forums for other peoples solutions.
