Great for small rooms
Ivan E. 28.08.2020
We have a band room around 4 by 5 meters. It's better to keep instruments more quiet in such a small space for better readability of any single instrument. These cymbals help a lot in this case. They are impossible to play loud.

Pros:
- they are quiet (like really-really quiet). I can smash the crashes with my full power and they still will be quieter than toms/snare drum
- they are cheap. I put them on the drumkit and I don't care if bass player or guitarist plays them
- they are light! easy to carry around
- look a bit like cheese, if you like cheese like me, that's a bonus

Cons:
- the edges of the holes are not very neat. I actually cut my skin on an index finger by simple carrying ride cymbal with it (using it kind of like a stand). That's usually not a problem with normal cymbals
- the sound is more on a hissing side, hi-hat sounds especially nasty when open. In my opinion, they are not good for recording or any kind of live situation (at least for music I am playing). Might be good only if loudness is an issue, but you might also just take lighter sticks/play quieter and not sacrifice sound quality of normal concert cymbal set.

Overall, good inside a small room. Not good for recordings or concerts.

You get what you pay for
Big Bo 04.05.2020
There's no denying, it's a bang for your buck.
Bought them to replace cracked zildjian low volume ones. These seem to be have some kind of a high frequency fizz that z's don't have and overall sound that comes out of them isn't as pleasant as zildjians for my personal preference. However I'm more than happy to buy the whole set of these for the price of one z ride! A little piece of gaff tape seems to tame the hiss really well. Bells pretty much don't exist on low volume cymbals, so these aren't an exeption either. Hopefully they'll last a while!

Gorgeous to play, even nicer to look at!
Jodie2021 22.08.2021
As I have been practicing mainly on the higher-end and much higher priced Zildjian silent cymbals in my classes, I was pleasantly surprised with these. Yes, there is of course a difference in sound quality, but not major or anything that would flaw them as a whole. Quite a striking addition (pun intended) to a second hand kit, both in appearance and functionality. No complaints from the overly sensitive neighbours either so far. Would recommend these.

Excellent for practice

In my opinion the Millenium Still series cymbal are excellent for players who may not have to opportunity to make a lot of noise. These great sounding cymbals are a cheap way to lower to volume of your home studio drastically. I was planning on purchasing the Zildjian L80s for a long time however upon reassuring myself that i was making to right decision, I can across the Still series. The first thing i noticed was that the Stills were €50 less expensive and included an extra crash. As a person who uses many crash cymbals this drew me in right away. After reading numerous reviews about the cymbals I decided that they were the way forward and i am very happy to have purchased them. They are great for use in apartments or other areas with many neighbours in close proximity. Can even be used in some small, quiet gigs, especially the hats have a nice tone. Thin, Light cymbals. Not for recording. Great for practice. Very quiet. WOULD DEFINETELY RECOMMEND!!!
