I bought 6 of these. They look great. That's where the fun times end. After 6 months of gigging these stands just started to drop one by one...and always in the middle of gigs too. :-( The base screw just quits which means you have zero stability; the adjustment mechanisms are not comfortable or robust; and folding them up at the end of the night is a major pain due to the fact that some of the stands were the tiniest bit too thick to accommodate the rest of the moving parts. And the boom arm? Well it just decides to start drooping no matter how tight you have the adjustment knob. I kept thinking Uri Geller was sneaking into our gigs and working his metal bending mojo.
I am not a fan of negativity in the slightest, nor am I a rant merchant, so please don't think this is some idiot who wants to get back at the world through bad reviews. I'm also a professional, working musician so don't think I'm a novice who can't work a mic stand. At the end of the day, a mic stand starting to droop and wobble when you're in the middle of a set is unacceptable. Sorry Millennium, but these stands do not have what it takes to cope with a busy gigging schedule. :-(
