A
The best, for the price
Anonym 06.03.2017
Bought 2, for our kids (age 10).

They work - plug-n-play,
And, they have the features we looked for.
They don't seem fragile - the PitchBend & Tremolo wheels also seem robust enough to last.

Key action :
The key-action is also good. Some notes aren't registered, if the key is pressed softly - but most mini-key keyboards have issues regarding action/velocity/etc.
4 Velocity-presets is available (soft/medium/hard/fixed), and "fixed" seem to fix this.

Pads :
They need to be hard-pressed - which isn't uncommon for these keyboards. They work.

Arpeggiator :
Is super. It works a bit different than the one on Akai Mini MPK2, but it works, and our kids love it.

Chords :
A fine tool / thing to try. It can be adjusted, as with the arppegiator - major, minor, etc.
It works just as good and limited, as in the more expensive stand-alone keyboards - because that one changes chord-type in melodies (from major to minor to 7's etc).

Metronome :
Works, puts forward the channel's voice (so, it is only usable, when one plays a drumkit with the keyboard).

Software :
The control-sw haven't been tested yet, so I don't know.
The bundle: It is a DIY-project - some in the bundle, cannot be found at the webpages, and Finale is only in German. The Samplitude-sequenser seem fine, and works.

All in all :
For the price, we are very satisfied - and each of our kids now have their own keyboard, and have already explored sequensing and playing.

O
You got to find something better...
OTheNonE 16.05.2018
The idea of this product is great! You got a tiny controller, with rotors and pads, which is what i wanted. But they are built so bad, that i find them almost useless.
Rotors: When they move, they move through "silent clicks". Every click changes a parameter in Ableton by 1, which is to slow. But when moved faster than a particular speed, the parameters flies up to maximum. This makes the rotors very hard to control...
Pads: You have to press too hard to make them react. This makes it hard to play e.g. a hihat.
Keys: They are not sensitive enough for playing softly. either you play too hard, and it plays notes too hard, or it does not register any playing.
Maybe this is not surprising for 59¤, but i dont think it's worth it. I'd by a controller good enough for 160¤, rather than saving 100¤ for this one...

Pretty good for the size.

I use this keyboard for literally everything MIDI. Drums, piano, orchestral, whatever you name. It works well in every situation.

Pros:
It has four knobs that you can assign macros to in Ableton.

Pitch shift and modulation wheels for your needs.

Keys are relatively sensitive and are pretty good with matching velocities.

There are tonnes of settings on this keyboard which allow you to do almost anything. You can set it to play chords by pressing one key, you can transpose by chromatic scale (as opposed to octaves), change your scales, play arpeggios for you and even lock it into playing either hard or soft velocities for you.

Cons:
I know it's obvious but the fact there are only 32 keys can be a nuisance (for me anyway as I try to play the piano properly but this can sometimes be solved by transposing).

The drum pads are pretty stiff. Not actually very good at picking up velocities at all BUT when it comes to playing the drums, I find it easier to play it on the keys anyway.

The keys feel kind of cheap and fragile, but mine has lasted me almost two years and it still works fine.

I would recommend this keyboard to anyone that is looking to buy a MIDI keyboard for the first time or looking for an upgrade from the cheapest one they could find unless they were looking for something to play the piano on, I would suggest getting a keyboard with more keys.

Small Price, Great quality.

It took me no time to connect and start using this keyboard. Plug and Play. Everything was satisfactory. There is really not much more to add, everything was as described.
