This is certainly a quality amp bag. It is waterproof, so with the amount of rain we now have in the UK this is a plus. There are two "heavy duty" zips at either side of the bag that I doubt will break anytime soon. The zips give you access to the front and back of the amp, should you wish to leave the amp in the bag but the Mark Bass Big Bang is a great piece of kit that deserves to be shown off on top of a rig, so I won't be using the bag for this purpose. There is a compartment on the front of the bag that can easily hold the power lead, a speakon cable and another cable, so no mislaid amp and speaker cables.
Aesthetically the black nylon is complimented by an embossed orangey-yellow "Mark World" logo on the front which is complimented by a well stitched cotton thread of the same colour that winds it way around the side of the bag and contours the shoulder straps. I really like this and it takes the edge off the heavy blackness of so many speaker and amp covers etc.
The minor faux pas? The shoulder straps, though very well made, just needed that little bit more give for people with wider pecs! If this were to be a problem for you then you can still remove the straps and use the sturdy handle at the top of the bag instead.
Overall, I don't know of any amp bag out there that is so well made as this one and that fits the Mark Bass Big Bang amp so tightly. Nothing worse than a sloppy accessory bag!I
Nice bag fts perfectly,it has a pocket where i always keep a speakon cable, back flap has velcro so it snugs ontop of my traveller cab, side ventilation opening so you won't have to take it off, one thing i never got used to is the 2 backpack style handles i would have preferred a messenger bag style instead, it!s not padded so it won't protect your amp against falling or banging but it proved great handling and dust protecion.
