This one is OK on the padding which avoids the damaging impacts, but only just OK.
The pocket on the back is an OK after thought and will hold a mic or 2 and a few cables, but extra weight in the pocket is extra strain on the "almost strong enough" shoulder strap, weak points being where the shoulder strap attaches to the main bag, with no double thickness material reinforcing at all.
There is a big Velcro flap on top to get access to the amp's own handle to carry the whole thing when the strap (or the small strap spring clips) break. Why this Velcro flap is so very big I do not know, maybe to drain rain water into the bag?
Everything else on this bag looks OK to me, Zips looks strong enough, nice badge on the front. But compared with the big & well padded Gator bags I have for my 15 inch JBL's at the same price, this bag is another Mackie (post thump) "only just makes it" excuse.
