I bought this to use on duo gigs - I play acoustic and sing, and work with a double bassist. Problem was that at rowdy pubs, we couldn't hear the guitar/vocals, so timing was an issue. This little baby is ideal, easy to use, no fussing about with EQ, it is what it is, just plug in from the PA and turn the volume up until it's just below the feedback point. Tried it with my band - rock/pop covers 3-piece - a couple of times, and it kinda helps, but it can't really keep up with the drums, but then it is only 50watts. Great piece of kit, tiny and unobtrusive, just sit it on the floor in front of the mic stand, fits in those small useless spaces when you're packing the van, but why hasn't it got a bloody handle!?
The kustom kpc4 is excellent value for money, you shouldn't be fooled this small amp, although small the sound quality has not been sacrificed, its very compact so is easy to store away, an excellent unit for beginners or for the more experienced of drummers, excellent sound, excellent value for money
