Best noise gate on the market
I tried other popular noise gates for a 14 pedal stereo fx loops and just couldn't get it to work right, even with professional help. A pro pedalboard builder recommended the G-String and it's just amazing. I can't recommend it enough. Huge pedal board, noisy Roland JC amp (for the stereo fx returns) and the G-String keeps it dead quiet while preserving the proper playability of the guitar. I've tried the other top sellers but this is the best noise gate I've ever (not) heard. I got the mini version for my rehearsal mini-pedal rig and my bass rig. So far, I can't think of any negatives. Great product.

Outstanding
this pedal should be the first pedal you buy when you start building a pedalboard. before the overdrive and all the other stuff. This Pedal really kills the nasty hum hum without interfering with the sustain of your bending or vibrato. It is an absolutely must!

nothing more after getting this
great great one! even with 4 gains active and the sound is still perfect , buffer is fine also. i couldnt image myself without!

Actually works!
After a long line of Noise Gates that are designed to just cut at a point. This is much more intelligent as to how it removes the noise. A winner for me

Exeptional!
Exceptional, in 1 word. Easy to use and just one knob (hence 4.5 in features). A total of 5.
It's worth its price; I bought it to replace the severely handicapped boss NS-2 that I had bought before. Best decision for my rig.

Very good noise gate. Would have been better with a remote control to place in the back of a rack (rack version is so much expensive). So, missing this feature to disable the hush while playing clean. Otherwise, one of the best intelligent gate.

The gtr in/out don't work!
I get it to work, only when it's plugged into a power supply, and only on the loop input, and when using on battery nothing works! Sendin' it back!
Ok Tmann sent another g-string and the exact same thing happened as before...disappointed and p'd off I have even sent this in return too! I finally got in touch with ISP Technologies direct and finally, finally, it was explained that you have to have all 4 of the plugs plugged in before it works!!! What a revalation! Now if only that was explained to me BEFORE, like in Tmanns description of the product, would have been nice, sorry bout that... Even in ISP's manual it is not really explained that you have to have all 4 plugs in, BUT, they are now going to change that because I'm not the only one running into this problem... So they will now put in big bold letters that you have to have it all connected! Thomann should put this info on their description of the product so others don't have to go through what I have!!!

ISP Decimator G-String
Dispatch and delivery from Thomann.de was 3 days to the UK, which is fantastic.
I have tried a bunch of Noise suppressors. All of them were good, but none of them as transparent as this pedal. I use this pedal with a 4 cable method in the loop of my Marshall JVM. It silences the power amp section without sacrificing any tone. It also keeps all my pedals out in front of the amp completely silent without any noticeable signal degradation. Its a very easy pedal to set up and use with only one dial to worry about. Set the threshold of the decimation and your done . This is now the only pedal i never change on my board as its the best as what it does. Its expensive but it really has no peers that match it. I could not be without it live or in the studio.

Noise off, simple as that
Very simple and effective device, just turn knob until noise is gone and that's it. Doesn't effect sound of guitar at all. Pro device in your pedalboard. Worth every cents!
