Finally a challenge to the so-called big-names (CTS,Alpha etc)
I bought this as I am frustrated at buying the big name brands only for them to be scratchy, stiff and poor longevity.
Admittedly I've only had this installed a week or so in my main guitar so I cannot verify it's longevity just yet, but it turns very smoothly indeed, it has no audible artifacts and has a nice gradual taper, unlike some other brands' potentiometers that go from 1=off to 2=full on then 2,4,5,6,7, etc are all the same value. This is installed in a 2xHumbucker guitar 2vol 2 tone utilising 50's wiring so it's vital it has a good gradual taper.
I bought this potentiometer to replace the original of my Squier, that was damaged.
Had some fear of buying something so cheap, the truth is I have it for 8 months now and there's not a single problem. Moreover, this kind of pieces are always needed sooner or later, so it's good to have them to replace when needed.
