I purchased the Gewa Soundpost Setter for Cello, to set the soundpost on a newly purchased cello for my girlfriend. The local store took twice the price for the setter, just to give it a try - I figured; the soundpost needs setting after every stringchange so I decided that I'd do it myself.
It's well built, sharp, sturdy and does just what it's surposed to do; setting the soundpost.
I gave it a few tries, but gave up after that.
Then my girlfriend gave it a try and after af few failures, the soundpost now have a fully functioning cello.
It's kind of hard to manoeuvre inside a cello through the f-hole and only should be careful not to damage the instrument.
I would highly recommend the "Gewa Soundpost Setter for Cello" to others.
