It sounds fantastic and it's well made. It's of sturdy, solid, all metal constuction and looks/feels as though it has been designed and built to high quality standards. The on/off switch is silent and needs a good positive action, enough to prevent accidental operation while using the pedal, yet not so much that it's hard to operate. There's an internal swich which allows the user to select true bypass if required. Fender refer to it as 'buffered' or 'classic'. There's a red LED on/off indicator. Apart from the usual effect, I often use it as a 'tone adjustment' device and to find that 'sweet spot' for feedback sustain.
As with most things, preferences can often be down to personal taste and while perhaps someone could of course say that that they might prefer for some other pedal, I fail to understand how anyone could possibly dislike the Fender FWP-1 pedal.
