I bought two to use with an Engl Ironball to control channel, reverb, gain boost and volume boost switching. The footswitch functions perfectly and the switches themselves are quite robust. The enclosure feels like quite cheap plastic and I can't see it holding up to much abuse. There are no LEDs on the switch, so you can't tell at a glance which functions are on or off.
The cable isn't very long (approx 3m) and certainly isn't long enough to run from your amp to the front of a stage.
I ended up rehousing both footswitches into one metal enclosure and adding LEDs for each switch. This made it much more useable. If I had known the quality of this beforehand, I would just have built my own footswitch from scratch (which incidentally, would have cost less than the price of one Z-3)
Overall, its perfectly functional, but not as sturdy as one would expect for the price.
the new structure is solid and the product I bought really cheap company that has quality already quite enough Cable length to be misled by the Engl doesn't make a bad product I would recommend to let price. visually the Z4 is better, but I can say the same as the function.
