Great, but not too much better than normal strings.
As far as I can tell, these strings do not feel different at all from regular strings; I say this because it's a frequent concern for those suspicious of 'coated' strings.
A notable thing that I was surprised to find in my use of these strings was that there was never any buildup of 'gunk' at all.
The strings were played 3-4 hours a day for about two or three months before I took them off; there was no breakage in all this time and the strings sounded notably 'new' during all this time without going dull as regular strings tend to.
I only wish they had a 7-string packet in my favourite gauge, but for the moment these are my favourite strings for my six-string guitars.
The only caveat is that if you don't want to spend another few euro on a pack of guitar strings, you're really not missing out on much. If you can afford the extra few euro, it's worth trying them out.
I've been jumping around different gauges and through my years of playing I've grown to love the skinny top/heavy bottoms. However before this I've never bought coated strings or cleartone strings before.
Now that I have them, I believe I'm gonna stay with these from now on. The sound doesn't die down after 3 to 4 weeks like what you get with other non coated strings.
If your looking for strings which last a very long time, sound doesn't go and feels great. Look no further.. Brilliant!
