Very good sound, nice features, bad reliability.

Startet out with problems, pops and driver instability. After three years it died.

It does sound very nice, and it has done alot of recording before it went bad, but considering the price, it should last longer.

I have two ASP880 - which are still solid and performing great. Hope they last.
My bandmate has an id4 which is also making weird noises and showing instability.

I think Audient would beat the competition with a little more quality control - longevity.

I will probably stick with RME products from now on.

Good sound and a lot of features for the price - Sadly broke after 3.5 years.

I've been using the Audient ID22 for 3.5 years, all in my home studio. Sound is good both in and out and I like the interface. The converters are really good for the price. It has a lot of capabilities in form of in and outs, even though I haven't used half of them since I don't have the need.

Sadly the interface broke down 3.5 years into use. A hissing sounds has appeared an after some research this has happened to a lot of users about 4 years into use. The build inside the interface is not great and easily causes capacitators to melt. I wish Audient would've taken more care when building this interface.

The warranty has expired and I was referenced to ship it for repairs on the other side of the country, at my own expense. This would run me the cost of at least a half new ID22, with no guarantee that it will last. The uncertainty and lack of assurance from their support will lead me to look for a new interface. Shame.

Amazing Sound!

Spent a few weeks trying to look for a Pro sound card with really good AD/DA converters. And my Good Friend pointed me into the direction of Burr Brown converters. I use a TC finalizer express optical out going into the id22. and my mixes sound much brighter, have more punch, and the sound is crystal clear. Whatever sound goes in (AD) the "exact" sound comes back to you (DA) It really makes a huge difference. Im also going to use this for vinyl that i have restored to 24bit WAV files so I really wanted to find a sound card that can do this for me. And i found it. If you are thinking of getting this do yourself a favor and buy it, its a really great build and the sound and converters for the price are amazing. thanks thomann! and thanks audient!

Have this a few years now but it was doomed from the start!

Some really cool features but was let down by the build, inputs went after 6 months, constant static noise on the outputs, had so much potential so maybe they improved it on the ID44 but I would advise against purchasing the ID22!.... please read reviews on gearspace before considering!
