The bag is decent enough with a handy small section for speaker and power leads. it's about the size of a 10" laptop bag. Too bad that it isn't deep enough to cover the whole amp head ( in my case the PF350). The flap cover does go over the middle (knobs) section but doesn't cover the metal protruding outer rims leaving them exposed to the elements. As the rims are close to the headphone/ audio inputs moisture could get in.That's a nono for electronic equipment. So, no use in the rain then. If they had just added on an extra 5 cm in depth and covered the entire width it would be a proper bag. It's cheap enough but i think it's better to look out for a padded bag where the whole thing can fit in.
Having bought the ampeg portaflex head but not having the portaflex cabinet to house it in I needed something to protect it when travelling to gigs etc. I was delighted to find that ampeg sell bags for the three portaflex heads, the amp fits snugly into the bag and has an extra pocket on the outside which I am using for the power cable. The bag is well padded but is not too bulky and has a useful shoulder strap.
