I have an Adam Hall home studio table. So I decided to extend its functionality and buy an additional shelf. Frankly speaking, I wanted just a universal shelf, not particularly a CD shelf, but only this was available.
As a CD shelf it is very good (accommodates 26 CDs). But CDs are not so popular anymore. So I mainly use it as space for DC adaptors for other equipment, which I lilke because the shelf is made of metal and has plenty of holes that together make it a safe and well-ventilated place for power sources, some of which may get more or less hot.
To note in passing, the CDs do sit well in the shelf slots. I mean they do not rattle or resonate when I use my monitors (placed on the same table) at higher volumes. This might be important to those paranoid perfectionists like myself. ))
Apart from that, it is difficult to use it for any other purpose because the bottom panel is not even (it has the slots to hold and organize the CDs).
All in all, I consider it a good buy that added some versatility to my Adam Hall home studio table. Why don't I give it a five-star rating? Well, there is nothing outstanding about it. Just ok.
