Adam F7 - Rock solid performance and exellent sound quality.
Rear panel features except for the speaker on/off switch, voltage selector and wall mount holes - RCA jacks and a combo XLR/TRS. Using either jack will automatically disable the other and thus using balanced XLR/TRS will disable non-balanced jacks and vice versa. Trim pots for shelving filter EQ's ±6dB, above 5khz high frequency and 300Hz for low frequency. A highpass filter on/off switch, 80Hz/flat for use with Adam's SubF (subwoofer) speaker. The rear panel also doubles as a heatsink for the class D digital amplifier as well as being a nice looking aluminium back plate instead of the regular heatsink look and feel (a no-go). The front panel has except for the X-art tweeter and 7-inch paper cone woofer, LED lights for ON (green) STANDBY (red). Standby mode is activated after about 20 minutes if no signal is fed to the speakers. Most material i have listened to, being all from classical to metal and inbetween have played very well and convincing. Complex rock material sounds dynamic and intense, with an (often) deep and punchy low-end, rich sounding mids and almost exaggerated top-end details. The Adam F7 is a tremendous bang for the buck as you won't find anything better from the compititors in the same price range. The Adam F7 bundle is an even bigger bang as you also get the T.Akustik ISO PADS (removes unwanted vibration and noise while acting as a small stand). This combo rocks and I highly recommend it!
