Universal Audio Volt 476P

Hallo zusammen,

hier bekommt Ihr ein top Interface welches fast keine Wünsche übrig lässt.
Jede Menge Eingänge ermöglichen ein tolles kreatives Arbeiten.
Die Erkennung läuft unter Apple problemlos einfach.

Am iPhone und iPad gibt es leider noch Nachholbedarf .
Solltet Ihr "wie ich es vor hatte" das Interface direkt mit dem original Apple USB Adapter verbinden und als Beispiel Kanal 1 "Mikrofon" direkt Aufnehmen wollen, nimmt das Interface dieses Signal nur als Stereo "links" auf.

Das bedeutet das Rechte Signal bleibt stumm.

Schön wäre hier ein Softwareupdate welches das Signal z.B. gleich auf 2x Mono umwandelt sofern nur ein Anschluss am Interface belegt ist.

Ansonsten funktioniert und Klingt das Interface einfach super.

Gerade die Kombination Volt 476P + Shure SM7B + Fethead klingt einfach Mega gut.

I’ve been using this interface for only a couple months, but I’m so happy with the results so here’s my review. I used a UR242 for years & never had a problem with it for what I do. The dsp’s weren’t terrible, but it was nice to have them for latency issues. Only thing lacking was an insufficient number of outs, which is what I was looking for to reamp guitars. I was looking at the Tascam 208i, but then happened to see an ad for the new budget-line interfaces from UA. Normally, I would never be able to afford anything from UA, but I was intrigued by the built-in compressors & vintage preamps at a budget price.

Since then, my recordings have taken on another life. The preamps are crystal clear, 1176 compressors sound great on both vocals and instruments, and the monitoring choices are a game changer when mixing. I love that there’s also a MONO button, as I always check my mixes in MONO. I don’t use the preamps & compressors on every track, but they’re nice to have nonetheless. I’ve also tried reamping my guitars through the 1176 and the vintage preamp for a more rich tone without having to use multiple plugins. Very happy with the results.

Pros: portable, well-built with classy wood panels reminiscent of Moog pedals, 2 headphone inputs for independent monitoring, Mono button for mixing, multiple monitoring capabilities and a good amount of quality software. Budget price.

Cons: no internal dsp, like in the Apollo models. This isn’t such a big issue for me, as the included software bundle makes up for the lack of dsp.

Overall, I’m elated with this purchase and plan to write another review in a few months. I’m running an old 2011 MBP with a Mojave patch, so make sure your computer is compatible with Mojave or later if you’re running Mac OS. Flawless service from Thomann as usual.

J'ai beaucoup entendu parlé de la nouvelle série Volt de Universal Audio. Que ce soit en vidéo ou en discutant avec des producteurs ou ingés son, ils me conseillaient de la prendre, ou de la tester. C'est ce que j'ai fait.

Je suis passé d'une Scarlette a la Volt car je me sentais limiter dans mon utilisation de cette dernière. Pas assez d'entrées et limité en connectiques (casque et output). Il était temps de changer d'interface.

Le design est sobre et éfficace, la prise en main est rapide et intuitive en hardware. Je n'ai pas eu de soucis a l'intègrerions sur mon Mac.

Le plus grand avantage de cette carte son, et ce qui m'as fait pencher sur cet achat et le preamp vintage et le compresseur 76.
Pour avoir plusieurs fois enregistré des voix, des guitares et autres instruments c'est un vrai outils qui n'est pas superflu. Ça donne un grain plus vintage et permet d'avoir une couleur avant même traitement sur logiciel. Le compresseur surtout m'as bien aidé. Mais je conseille de l'utilisé que si nécessaire.
Un gros avantage aussi sont les plug ins gratuit.

La volt 4 76P est un super outils pour les producteurs qui souhaite avoir un son vintage, plus de deux entrées et sorties et de la polyvalence. Que ce soit pour la voix (chant ou podcaste), pour les guitares ou basse (en directe avec la carte son ou avec ampli avec micro) elle sera tout faire correctement.
je n'ai pas encore tester sur iPad, mais le but pour moi était de pouvoir avoir une carte son sur ordi, jusque là, c'est un sans faute.
