The crew around Mastermind Byoung-Yul Lim has been very busy in the past 2 years developing a separate range of analog pedals and combo amplifiers. Excellent systems have emerged with no need to shy away from international comparisons. The vintage phase shifter makes exactly what its name says: Phaser sounds (which can not "calculate" a digital device really well), like we know them and love them from the 70s. Useful Leslie sounds are also possible (which the Phaser should have originally copied). Adjustable speed, depth and resonance (the latter to give the sound the necessary sharpness - according to taste). And the price? Sensational!

Der Phase Shifter ist sehr gut verarbeitet. Das Gehäuse ist sehr stabil. Habe bereits ein paar mal Live mitgehabt, und ist absolut zuverlässig. Der Schalter ist gut eingebaut und funktioniert sehr präzis.
Das ThruBypass ermöglicht, dass kein Qualitätsverlust zur Stande kommt. Somit ist der Einbau auch in komplexen und langen Effektenketten bedenklos möglich.

Die Benennung "Vintage" ist mit diesem Gerät 100% getroffen. Mann gewinnt den Eindrück, Das Gerät wäre in der 70er gebaut worden. Doch ist eine sehr breite Palette an Kombinationen möglich, so dass viele Stylrichtungen somit abgedeckt werden können. Nicht schlecht, für Ware aus China. Ich habe das Phase Shifter erst aus Neugier gekauft, und mittlerweile spiele stark mit dem Gedanken, weitere Stomp Boxes von Artec zu besorgen.

Richtig gut aber Qualitätstreuung

Eeigentlich ist für mich der EHX Small Stone der Phaser der Wahl. Er bleibt es auch, trotz seines Volume Loss beim Einschalten und dem relativ großen Gehäuse.

Wenn man in etwa diesen Sound will und auch ein bißchen was vom MXR Phase 90, aber wenig Platz auf dem Board und auch knapper bei kasse ist, dann ist dieser hier eine echte Alternative. Wenig rauschen, ein sehr warmer Grundsound und vor allem viel mehr Einstellungsmöglichkeiten. Klingt sehr vintagemäßig. Der True Bypass Schalter ist ein wenig wackelig aber das ist mehr ein Gefühl, als ein Problem.

Tolles Gerät, würde ich mir immer wieder kaufen.

PS: Habe jetzt noch einen anderen gehört. Das gleiche Modell. Die Klangcharakteristik ist aber ganz leicht unterschiedlich. Das spricht für Fertigungstoleranzen. Ebenfalls gut aber etwas anders im Charakter.
