Nonostante il <strong>genere<\/strong> <strong>primario<\/strong> dei <strong>Led<\/strong> <strong>Zeppelin<\/strong> sia stato classificato <strong>proto<\/strong>&#8211;<strong>heavy<\/strong>, <strong>blues<\/strong> <strong>rock<\/strong> e <strong>hard<\/strong> <strong>rock<\/strong>, vi sono anche chiare tracce\u00a0di soul, psichedelico e folk. Il primo capitolo della storia di questa band inizia nel <strong>1968<\/strong>, quando Page port\u00f2 la band agli <strong>Olympic Studios di Londra<\/strong> per 30 ore. Page, <strong>Robert Plant<\/strong>,<strong> John Paul Jones<\/strong> e <strong>John Bonham<\/strong> incisero la pietra miliare in poco pi\u00f9 di 1 <strong>giornata<\/strong>. In merito al disco, Page dir\u00e0: &#8220;<em><strong>Led Zeppelin (Atlantic 1968)<\/strong> <\/em>\u00e8 quasi un live album, ed \u00e8 cos\u00ec che \u00e8 stato concepito. Un paio di take sono state ri-registrate in <strong>seguito<\/strong>, ma la maggior parte del <strong>disco \u00e8 stata incisa in presa diretta<\/strong>. <strong>Glyn Johns<\/strong>, colui che si nascondeva dietro a <em><strong>Who&#8217;s Next<\/strong><\/em> dei <strong>The Who<\/strong> o <em><strong>Get Yet Ya-Ya&#8217;s Out<\/strong><\/em> dei <strong>Rolling Stones<\/strong>, contribu\u00ec al disco. Nonostante Page sia passato agli annali imbracciando la fidata \u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thomann.de\/it\/search_dir.html?sw=Gibson+Les+Paul+Standard&amp;smcs=ead238_1720&amp;viewMode=block\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Gibson Les Paul Standard<\/strong> <\/a>, la chitarra usata nel primo <strong>disco<\/strong> \u00e8 una <strong>Fender Telecaster del &#8217;59<\/strong>, donatagli da <strong>Jeff<\/strong> <strong>Beck<\/strong>, con una finitura particolare. Difficile <strong>riprodurre<\/strong> quel <strong>suono<\/strong> perch\u00e9 \u00e8 difficile suonare come Bonham: <strong>groove<\/strong>, <strong>botta<\/strong>, <strong>dinamica<\/strong> e <strong>rock<\/strong> psichedelico a livelli esagerati.<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=-rmtJ6-EY1E<\/p>\n<p>Nonostante Bonham suonasse batterie di diversi brand, una cosa accomunava i vari kit: la <strong>grandezza<\/strong>. Ai tempi, la tecnica pi\u00f9 diffusa era quella di posizionare il <strong>microfono<\/strong> il pi\u00f9<strong> possibile vicino all&#8217;amplificatore<\/strong>: <strong>Page<\/strong> e <strong>Johns<\/strong> realizzarono che la <strong>&#8216;profondit\u00e0&#8217; del suono \u00e8 data dalla distanza<\/strong>, e iniziarono a sperimentare con <strong>microfoni vicini al cono<\/strong> e microfoni <strong>ambientali<\/strong>, creando un suono <strong>riconoscibile<\/strong> che plasm\u00f2 il modo in cui le chitarre rock vengono <strong>microfonate<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Per <strong>registrare<\/strong> la batteria <strong>acustica<\/strong>, <strong>Glyn<\/strong> <strong>Johns<\/strong> si avvale della <strong>tecnica a 3 microfoni<\/strong>: due <strong>condensatori<\/strong> (identici e a <strong>diaframma<\/strong> <strong>largo<\/strong>) e un <strong>dinamico<\/strong>. Il <strong>dinamico<\/strong> va posizionato sulla <strong>grancassa<\/strong> (e un opzionale 4\u00b0, secondo tecniche pi\u00f9 moderne, al rullante), un <strong>condensatore<\/strong> per i piatti a circa<strong> 60-100 cm dal rullante<\/strong> (in altezza) che punta verso il <strong>pedale<\/strong> della <strong>grancassa<\/strong>, attraverso i <strong>bordi<\/strong> dei due <strong>tom<\/strong>, con panning a <strong>destra<\/strong>. Il secondo <strong>condensatore<\/strong> va piazzato dietro alla schiena del batterista, all&#8217;altezza della spalla <strong>destra<\/strong>, a <strong>circa 20 cm pi\u00f9 in alto<\/strong> (in linea d&#8217;aria) rispetto all&#8217;altezza del <strong>timpano<\/strong>, direzionato verso <strong>l&#8217;hi-hat<\/strong>, passandro sopra al <strong>rullante<\/strong>. Il secondo <strong>microfono<\/strong> ha il panning verso la <strong>sinistra<\/strong>. Eventuali problemi di fase vanno risolti sistemando il posizionamento dei tre microfoni.<\/p>\n<p>Il vantaggio principale della <strong>tecnica<\/strong> di <strong>Glyn<\/strong> \u00e8 di poter incidere <strong>risparmiando<\/strong> tempo e <strong>denaro<\/strong>, con 3\/4 <strong>microfoni<\/strong> e poca &#8216;<strong>separazione<\/strong>&#8216; nel mix.
