A primera vista, la parte trasera de una pantalla de guitarra quiz\u00e1 no parezca demasiado importante: al fin y al cabo, el altavoz est\u00e1 en la parte delantera y proyecta el sonido hacia delante. Entonces, \u00bfqu\u00e9 tiene que ver la parte trasera del ampli con el sonido? Pues bastante, sobre todo en c\u00f3mo suena la pantalla dentro de una sala. Lo has adivinado: tiene que ver con la propagaci\u00f3n de las ondas sonoras y con distintas cancelaciones de frecuencia. Su dise\u00f1o es bastante sencillo: una caja de madera con cuatro paneles laterales, un panel trasero y un panel frontal donde va montado el altavoz. Normalmente, el panel frontal est\u00e1 protegido por una rejilla o por una tela ac\u00fasticamente transparente. Pero hay otros componentes que tambi\u00e9n contribuyen al resultado:<\/p> \n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><strong>N\u00famero de altavoces<\/strong><\/h3> \n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Las pantallas de guitarra suelen encontrarse con uno, dos o cuatro altavoces. Como gu\u00eda general, cuantos m\u00e1s altavoces haya, m\u00e1s \u201clleno\u201d ser\u00e1 el sonido. Por supuesto, el tama\u00f1o, es decir, el di\u00e1metro de los altavoces, tambi\u00e9n importa. Aqu\u00ed se aplica una regla parecida: cuanto m\u00e1s grandes, m\u00e1s contundentes. Las pantallas de guitarra suelen montar principalmente altavoces de 12 pulgadas, aunque tambi\u00e9n existen modelos con altavoces de 10 u 8 pulgadas.<\/p> \n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><strong>Tipo y grosor de la madera<\/strong><\/h3> \n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El grosor de la madera hace referencia al espesor de la madera utilizada en los paneles laterales y traseros. Un altavoz genera vibraciones. Lo ideal es que la madera de la pantalla resuene con el altavoz y refuerce esas vibraciones. La mayor\u00eda de pantallas de guitarra est\u00e1n fabricadas con contrachapado resistente; el est\u00e1ndar de la industria es el contrachapado de abedul de 18 mil\u00edmetros. Esta madera resuena mejor, especialmente en pantallas cerradas. Como resultado, el sonido de este tipo de pantalla de guitarra es muy focalizado y llega directamente al oyente. Los graves son claros, firmes y definidos, y los medios tambi\u00e9n quedan algo m\u00e1s pronunciados. Este tipo de pantalla es especialmente adecuada para abrirse paso en una banda. La mayor\u00eda de pantallas 4&#215;12 est\u00e1n dise\u00f1adas con la parte trasera cerrada. de guitarra open back tiene una abertura en el panel trasero. La mayor\u00eda de pantallas abiertas por detr\u00e1s cuentan con paneles traseros parciales en la parte superior e inferior, y uno de ellos suele alojar tambi\u00e9n los conectores. Entre ambos queda un hueco a trav\u00e9s del cual se pueden ver los altavoces. Dependiendo del tama\u00f1o de ese hueco, podr\u00e1 escapar m\u00e1s o menos sonido hacia la parte trasera.<\/p> \n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Esto reduce el nivel de presi\u00f3n sonora en la parte frontal y hace que el sonido sea m\u00e1s abierto y menos focalizado. Dicho de forma sencilla, una pantalla cerrada proyecta una especie de haz de sonido hacia delante, mientras que una pantalla open back crea m\u00e1s bien una nube sonora alrededor de la pantalla. El sonido se distribuye por una zona m\u00e1s amplia de la sala porque tambi\u00e9n se emite hacia atr\u00e1s.<\/p> \n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a1No lo olvides! Si colocas una pantalla open back directamente contra la pared, esa nube sonora ser\u00e1 m\u00e1s peque\u00f1a que si la sit\u00faas un poco separada de la pared y dejas que el sonido se expanda por una zona m\u00e1s amplia. El sonido resulta algo m\u00e1s c\u00e1lido, con una ligera reducci\u00f3n en el rango de agudos.
