The Polish company Polyend<\/strong>, known for its trackers and grooveboxes, presents a polyphonic multi-engine synthesizer <\/strong>aptly named Synth<\/strong>. Under the hood, it is a real monster with 3 simultaneously playable independent parts <\/strong>that can access 8 different synth engines <\/strong>with 8 voices of polyphony<\/strong>. This new wireless microphone system for smartphones <\/strong>consists of two clip-on microphones <\/strong>with an omnidirectional polar pattern <\/strong>and integrated windscreen<\/strong>, a receiver, <\/strong>and a charging case<\/strong>. The frequency range <\/strong>is 50 to 15,000 Hz<\/strong>, the maximum sound pressure level <\/strong>is 135 dB SPL <\/strong>(1 kHz @ 1 m), and the digital resolution is 24 bit <\/strong>at 48 kHz<\/strong>. The rechargeable battery <\/strong>takes 3 hours to charge and lasts for 7 hours <\/strong>(21 hours with the charging case). The Rode Wireless Micro <\/strong>is available in a USB-C version and a version with a Lightning connector for older iPhones. Roland also has a new compact E-drum kit. Thanks to the\u00a0new VQD\u00a0<\/strong>pads and\u00a0improved isolation<\/strong>, the\u00a0Roland VQD106\u00a0<\/strong>only has a\u00a0playing volume\u00a0<\/strong>of\u00a0about 30 dB<\/strong>, meaning that it\u2019s up\u00a0to 75 % quieter than conventional E-drums<\/strong>. Nevertheless, you don\u2019t have to make do without professional features such as the\u00a0Roland TD-07 sound module<\/strong>. It comes with a bass drum pad, snare pad, hi-hat pad, three tom pads, and crash and ride pads.
