You\u2019re invited! In cooperation with Sennheiser<\/a>, we are bringing four great live acts to the open-air stage at Reeperbahn Festival 2024. From 5.30 pm, the popular and outspoken artists Kayef, Esther Graf, Tonbandger\u00e4t and Kasi will take the stage at Spielbudenplatz, right at the heart of Reeperbahn Festival. Come on over!<\/p>\n

Choosing your own path, not being told what to do, taking things into your own hands: This is how Kai Fichtner has pursued his music career from the very beginning and continues to do so to this day. Since his debut album “Relikte letzter Nacht” (2014), Fichtner aka Kayef has become one of Germany’s most successful pop musicians thanks to his hard work and dedication. His opinionated songs on topics relevant to Gen Z reflect his thoughtful instinct for the important questions in life, from loving and leaving to finding one’s own identity and perspectives in an increasingly hedonistic society. We are already looking forward to the panel discussion with Kayef.<\/p>\n

ESTHER GRAF<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Esther Graf is a musician, singer, songwriter and model. Having grown up in Austria, her path led her via Vienna to Berlin. She gave up her budding modelling career early on to devote herself entirely to her passion for music. The “Queen of Features” (Finch, Montez, Madeline Juno, Alligatoah, among others) released her debut album “Happy Worstday” this year. We talk to Esther about self-determination, her love of songwriting and the search for her own sound. We find out what this has to do with climbing the ladder, being proactive and fearing rejection, and also why being na\u00efve can sometimes help.<\/p>\n

TONBANDGER\u00c4T<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The former New Music Award winners have another home game. Having started out as a casual youth project after school, Tonbandger\u00e4t ticked off most of the stages of a classic band biography over the last fifteen years. From their first EP “Du nennst es Tetris, ich nenn es Alltag” (2009) to winning the New Music Award in 2012 and achieving nationwide success with their debut album “Heute ist f\u00fcr immer” (2013), the band, which has since shrunk from a quartet to a trio, has enjoyed a career that was crowned with rapid success, but nevertheless remained very unconventional. Find out how this has affected them and how they cope with the pressure at the Thomann event at Spielbudenplatz.<\/p>\n

KASI<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Since 2022, Kasi has been taking the German indie scene by storm. The newcomer from Frankfurt am Main was introduced to indie, rock and punk by his parents and discovered hip-hop as a teenager. When he started uploading his songs to Soundcloud, things suddenly went through the roof. Kasi is of course no stranger to the Reeperbahn Festival, having been one of the hottest acts in 2023. A year ago, he also released his song and music video “Vielleicht in einem Jahr” (\u201cMaybe in a Year\u201d) with the telling lines “(…) Egal, wo ich grad hingeh, du bist irgendwie auch da” (\u201cno matter where I go, you\u2019re somehow also there\u201d). We\u2019ll find out how he\u2019s been doing since then and what thoughts are on his mind.<\/p>\n
