Postpartum, however, was not the best time to devote herself completely to making<\/strong> a record<\/strong>, says Alanis<\/strong>: the singer claims to have “split<\/strong>” as a parent<\/strong> and artist<\/strong>, transforming the first floor of her home in Los<\/strong> Angeles<\/strong> in a studio to record her songs, including “Guardian<\/strong>” (song dedicated to her eldest son).<\/p>\n

The early days were not easy at all: the singer<\/strong> had to overcome a post<\/strong>natal<\/strong> depression<\/strong> that put her career on hold.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs far as I knew, postpartum depression meant not wanting to be with the baby, being afraid of hurting him or being unable to be a mother: for me it was the complete opposite, I was obsessed<\/em> with my son. I didn’t feel right, I thought that having a son had been the worst decision of my life. I said to myself, “I have to reserve one afternoon a week to do what I want without the baby.”<\/p>\n

A friend said to me: \u201cReally? Don’t you feel guilty? ” I replied “Yes, but less<\/strong> guilty<\/strong> than I would feel if I didn’t.” You become a better mother if you take care of yourself as much as you care about your baby.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

To date Adele defines herself as a serene and overprotective mother that fully enjoys the concerts and touring life. Adele obviously has a nanny, who serves to help her and not replace her entirely. In addition, Adele fiercely defends her privacy: “I will f***ing fine everybody that tries to get close to my son<\/strong><\/em>“.<\/p>\n

Barely at one year old, her daughter Willow<\/strong> started traveling with her around the world “That way she won’t grow up spoiled and understand how wonderful her mom’s work is”. The singer defines herself as a protective mother, rebellious yet with her feet on the ground<\/strong>, mature<\/strong> and self<\/strong>–conscious<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

During a concert in Philadelphia<\/strong>, in the middle of the performance, the sound of a crying<\/strong> baby<\/strong> from the audience attracted her attention: she immediately stopped singing and, after discovering that a little girl was crying, she asked her why she was so sad. Turns out that the little girl was frightened because her mom<\/strong> was arguing with another<\/strong> woman<\/strong>. To confort her, Pink<\/strong> made her bring some snacks and a stuffed<\/strong> animal<\/strong> that fans had given her.<\/p>\n

Pink will always remain a rebellious<\/strong> rocker<\/strong> with a big<\/strong> heart<\/strong> and, like all working mothers, a woman able to fulfil her artistic<\/strong> commitments<\/strong> while being an awesome 24\/7 mother.<\/p>\n

Sharon is undoubtedly<\/strong> a mother<\/strong> full of energy<\/strong>, one who does not give up her rockstar<\/strong> career<\/strong> but who loves at the same time enjoying<\/strong> the family<\/strong> more than anything else in the world: during the tours it’s her husband, Robert, (founding member and recording guitarist of Within Temptation) to take care of the children because, for obvious reasons<\/strong>, he is the one of the two who is able to step down.<\/p>\n

For this reason Sharon<\/strong> does not hesitate<\/strong> to spend every free moment with her children, which she often brings with her during concerts<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
