Cliff Burton<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>was one of the most influential bassists in the history of metal, but unfortunately he left us way\u00a0too soon. Between\u00a01982 and\u00a01986, he left his mark in the thrash metal scene together with Metallica<\/strong><\/a>, during which he developed his own dirty bass-sound of which we dedicate our latest \u201cOne Way To Sound Like\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

A good place to start is of course among the bass candidates in our Thomann shop. In the video Andi plays the Rickenbacker 4003S MG<\/a><\/strong> of which we consider to be the closest to the original sound. Alternatively we also played the Fender Precision<\/a><\/strong>, the 50s Classics<\/strong><\/a> and Mexico Standards<\/a><\/strong>. The single coils are noticeably key in contributing to the overall sound.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
