One of the most ambitious project in the world: 1200 musicians, together, playing a whole gig! Are we crazy? No, we just witnessed “That’s Live”!<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/a>It all started with the Rockin’1000,<\/strong>\u00a0the viral video<\/a>, <\/strong>based on an idea of its\u00a0founder Fabio Zaffagnini,\u00a0that recorded\u00a01000 musicians playing “Learn To Fly<\/strong>” by Foo Fighters in a field. Dave Grohl himself watched it and\u00a0decided to arrange\u00a0a gig in\u00a0Cesena afterwards.\u00a0This year, they raised the bar\u00a0with another project: That’s Live<\/strong>. 1200 musicians playing an entire gig<\/strong> together.<\/p>\n

The event was held on Sunday, July 24 at the Orogel\u00a0Cesena Dino Manuzzi Stadium, and the whole “rock orchestra<\/strong>” was directed by the Italian composer\u00a0Marco Sabiu, who\u00a0joined the stage riding a motorbike and wearing a … bathrobe!<\/p>\n

More than 13000<\/strong> people were present at\u00a0the event, attending\u00a0a revolutionary<\/strong> listening experience. The sound perception was huge and unique, thanks to the insane<\/strong> amount of drummers, guitarists, bassists and singers. The “biggest rock band in the world<\/strong>” performed alongside violinist, pianists and even bagpipe players. The event\u00a0was described by many as a life-changing<\/strong> experience, that brought a new meaning to the phrase\u00a0“be a part of something”.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
