Elvis lives! Of course this statement about the<\/span> King of Rock’n’Roll<\/span> is to be taken figuratively, not literally. Actually, it’s often thrown around too freely because it does, in fact, have a deeper, philosophical meaning. Of course the statement refers to the fact that he’s been made “immortal” through his music. This is a perfect example of<\/span> #ThePowerOfMusic\u00a0and Elvis is not the only example of this, read below…<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The power of music survives death<\/h3>\n

And he has lived this music eccentrically<\/strong> – without consideration for losses or himself. Between pills<\/strong> and his own genius<\/strong>, he lived life on the edge<\/strong>. And like many others, he died much too soon<\/strong>. However, if death knocks unmistakably at the door but you remain in people’s memories with your songs for all eternity, can you ever really die?<\/p>\n

The King at the end of his streak<\/h3>\n

In the last years of his life Elvis Aaron Presley<\/strong>\u00a0ruined himself more and more mentally and physically. In the end, he weighed 150 kg<\/strong>, was marked by his lifestyle and addicted to pills<\/strong>. His former doctor writes that he prescribed him 10,000 medications<\/strong> in the year of his death alone. And that was just one of several doctors taking care of the star. His diehard fans protect him and deny any statements about his alcohol and drug addictions and call them “blasphemous lies”. Despite all the mysterious and unexplained circumstances, the fact remains that he died too early, at the age of 42<\/strong> on August 16th, 1977<\/strong>. Many fans still go on pilgrimages to his former home, Graceland<\/strong>, in Memphis, Tennessee. He has left behind an unforgettable musical heritage. Elvis is considered to be one of the most influential musicians in pop and rock history.<\/p>\n

Musical artists that outlast time<\/h3>\n

The debates about whether Elvis and all the other “deceased” artists are still alive will probably never end, proving the timeless power of music<\/strong>. The memory of the King of Rock’n’Roll and all the other legends such as Janis Joplin<\/strong>, Jimi Hendrix<\/strong>, Freddy Mercury <\/strong>or Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart<\/strong> will still be alive even when all those who are now discussing it are already in their graves. As long as you talk about them and listen to their songs, they are very much alive at least in the memory and emotions of the fans. Especially in the past few years many rock and pop legends have passed away. They are most likely playing with Elvis now in Heaven’s rock ensemble.<\/p>\n
