Those of you who visited our Thomann shop<\/strong><\/a> these past few weeks, may have heard a series of hammering noises coming out of our PA department<\/strong><\/a>. That’s because, our PA team were\u00a0busy re-designing and re-wiring the showroom<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0with\u00a02000 metres<\/strong> of cable including tens of thousands of soldering points. But why exactly?<\/p>\n

The reason for this renovation was to install a new, flexible and easy-to-use matrix system<\/strong> for our customers and employees. Now there is the possibility to test our mixers<\/strong><\/a> and loudspeakers<\/strong><\/a> anywhere in the room with just a simple click on our tablet and with the ability to combine various devices as well as compare from different manufacturers.
\nLarge monitors were installed across the showroom, so that our guests are always able to keep track which speakers<\/strong>, amplifiers<\/strong><\/a> or equalizers<\/strong> <\/a>they are listening to. This new matrix system and app was developed by our own IT department.<\/p>\n
